Healesville Wildlife Sanctuary is situated about 60kms east of Melbourne. Containing only native animals, the sanctuary attempts to preserve the wildlife and give the public an opportunity to experience close up the wonder of the Australian Natural Fauna. We were able to pat Kangaroos, Wallabies and Wombats (the Koalas were busy that day).
The generic term for Kangaroo and Wallaby babies is "joey", but apparently Niki and Ken decided that this little guy is called "Noel".
